Tonight, I was randomly talking to people on MSN, and I felt for a change in my icon. Trolling through my sizeable collection, I came across a new one of Robert Pattinson from the film Twilight (due out on the 12th December!) and decided to make use.

As I've become rpidly obsessed with Stephenie Meyer's saga, I took a new look at ther website and checked out all the actors for the film, only to realise that today is Robert P's 22nd birthday!

Coincidence? Maybe. But it sure happens a lot.

1) I rarely cry for real life situations. If someone very close to me dies, sure, but someone I’ve known since I was a child and have recently got very close to as an adult is about to migrate to Australia and I can’t seem to shed a single tear. This happens to me a lot. However, show me a film or a sad book, or even horses galloping about in the wild and I’m a MESS!

2) I’m a huge pack rat. I keep EVERYTHING!

3) I can’t get into bed or wear socks unless my feet have been scrubbed on the shower floor at least.

4) I know all the German words to most of the songs on Rammstein’s Sehnsucht.

5) I have a cheese sandwich and Lipton tea for breakfast every day.

6) I am compelled to purchase underwear. Always.

7) I imagine, morbidly, what my funeral will be like. How old I’ll be when I die, what I’ll wear, who will show up, what they’ll say about me behind my dead back, and whether I’ll be able to sit in the sidelines and watch in amusement.

A good title can make or break a fanfic. List (at least) five recent fanfics you've written. For each one, explain how you came up with the title and what it means.

With You All The Way is my most recent proper fic (i.e. non-drabble) written for ravenpan in hd_inspired’s Harry/Draco M-preg Exchange. I used the line “I’ll be with you all the way, Harry” in the fic and I thought it would be a cute title since male pregnancy is really quite difficult and sometimes a wizard needs a little bit of support :)

Forbidden is one of my WIPs (my favourite at this stage) in which Professor Potter falls in love with his seventh year student, Lucas Malfoy (Draco’s son before we read Deathly Hallows). The title explains itself, really.

Queue the Pulse to Begin is what I named last year’s hpvamp"Will You Be My Vampentine?" fic. Yet another Harry/Draco fic in which Draco is a vampire and of course, he goes after Harry once he finds him in a Muggle club while hunting. There was much talk of pulses, and Harry’s thrum of magic that drew Draco to him in the fic, and ‘QTPTB’ is the title of the Queer as Folk theme song, the TV show that flung me, helpless and stunned, into the world of homosexual activity – of which I am beyond thankful.

Till Death Do Us Part is my entirely Muse-written Harry/Draco fic. It involves Draco marrying a witch, because that’s what good Malfoy heirs do, and Harry being his ‘inside man’ – as opposed to ‘outside’, since Harry is his one and only love, till death do they part.

Welcome to Your Life was written for the hp_summersmutExchange last year. A Percy/Harry that was easily the biggest stretch for me to write, but I thought it came out alright. It was supremely screwed up in all senses of the word, but the title was inspired by the song “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears because, let’s face it, Percy wanted to rule the world.

That was fun! :D

How on earth was I to know that a lamppost would have got in my way? Fucking Muggles and their electricity! Through the stars in my vision and the pounding in my head, I saw Potter and his stupid green eyes clouded with concern. I’m sure he was babbling something about being sorry, but I was more concerned about my nose to pay attention. If The Boy Who Lived thought he would live much longer if he had caused me to—he had!

“You broke my nose, arsehole!” was all my appalled tongue could produce through the blood. I was disfigured. Distraught. It would be the last time I’d ever go shopping in London again. Owl order only.

“I didn’t break your nose. You walked into the post.” He picked my up off the hard pavement, just like any good Gryffindor would, and quietly led me around the corner into a deserted alleyway. “Hold on tightly, we’re going to St Mungo’s.”

“They say I have a concussion.” I was surprised to see Potter waiting for me when I came out of the examination room where my nose had been put back into place by the best Cosmetic Healer at the hospital.

“I had one of those once. I wasn’t allowed to sleep for twenty-four hours,” Potter supplied unhelpfully.

“I know. They also said I should have someone with me to make sure I stay awake.”

“I can stay up with you.”

It was all Potter’s fault as usual. How dare he be so charming? How dare he bring me my favourite Swiss chocolate? How dare he ask me to have dinner with him? How dare he invite me back to his flat and lasciviously kiss me, pressing my back against his door and grinding his hips into mine? It was all his fault that my stomach disappeared and my knees were no longer able to support my body and I was forced to seek purchase on his broad shoulders.

It was all his fault that I woke up in his bed between crisp blue sheets, my body curled warm and comfortable against his, a pleasant ache coming from within. His fault that my lips were drawn to his bare skin, that my hand sought out his and laced our fingers together; that butterflies danced a waltz in my belly when he rolled over and smiled at me.

I could take no blame for falling in love with him. It was all Potter’s fault. As usual.
